If you go to the supermarket and buy the stuff to eat... 15/18 eur per day is good.. depends..
Bus is cheap... from FARO to LAGOS it was like 8 eur...
The taxi, from Lagos to Praia da Luz, like 6Km, at night I paid like 18 eur....., this trip by bus it was 2 eur
The house... it depends...
I have a friend there that lives on a small apartment - T1 - and he pays like 350eur and he lives 300m from the ocean, but its a old apartment... and he lives there all year so prices are lower...

House (600eur), water (30eur) gas (30eur), electricity (50eur), cable tv + internet + phone (80eur) = 790 eur/month - if u plan to live there
Food some 500 eur should do it...
