Take a look at average winter temps in Chicago/Minneapolis, it's -20 or something stupid.
I'm not knocking any country, I'm just pointing out you cant think that more than a few% live in trailers.
US property, outside of the large cities is cheap, so people can afford decent housing.
Russia usually get listed as an expensive place to live, or maybe that's just Moscow
