I voted for Bush both times like you...but the difference now is I'm probably the one who realizes his administration was a gang of war mongers. ISIS would not exist today if George W Bush hadn't needlessly gone into Iraq to finish his poppy's job. Actually I blame Rumsfeld and Cheney more than anyone.
Bush's Iraq war is now the biggest military debacle in the history of our country. You know that right? When you think about the far reaching implications it has on the security of this nation, it even outweighs Vietnam. Bringing up Iraq like it's some feather in conservatives cap is hardly un-moronic. Since you like to go around calling people obviously smarter than you morons.
What is it about his approach you don't like? You have problems with measured calculations? Or is scorched earth policy what you want? They're dropping bombs, and they're waging a financial and social war -- and probably fighting on many other fronts neither one of us could imagine. What is it you actually want from Obama? For him to put together those two words that Fox news yammers on about all fucking day? Would that be enough?
Bottom line is, you right wingnuts make too much out of ISIS because you have a thing with fear. You're afraid of scary black people raping you, so you carry a gun. You're scared of Mexicans coming to take your tax money. You're scared of the big bad government taking away your freedom. You're scared of gay people ruining your institution of marriage. You're scared of women making a choice about their own pregnancies. It's all about fear.
ISIS isn't coming to get you. It's more likely a garbage truck tire will fly into your window and kill you on your couch.
