I'm looking for 2 content writers on a part time basis.
This is non-adult writing. We need one writer with a "male voice" and one with a 'female voice" (that doesn't mean we will hire one male and one female, just the ability to write in those types of voices for those types of audiences.
The articles will be fore our content sites and need to be well written. They must be written in good quality English. The writers must have a good knowledge of copyright, fair use, public domain content (actual pd content, not what many people "think" is public domain content ;-)), editorial guidelines, etc. No spinners or scrapers. We use copyscape to verify.
The workload is 4-5 long articles (600 words+) per week or 6-8 short to medium (250-300 words) articles per week. Will need a variety of types and subjects (picture articles, top lists, features, reviews, etc.) Must be comfortable coming up with own subjects and ideas while also picking up assigned articles as well. The articles can be written daily or at once and uploaded to be published throughout the week).
Typical topic niches:
Males:
fitness, tech, lifestyle, guy stuff, humor
Females:
fitness, health and nutrition, yoga, fitness trends, apps
Pay is done on a monthly basis via paypal only. Payments will be made on the 5th of the month for the previous month.
Bonuses and potential for extra work will be available as well as chances for growth.
Some graphics experience is helpful (photo editing, creation of simple header graphics, based on a spec sheet). Must have wordpress experience and helpful if you have some html knowledge. I'd much prefer a quality writer with lesser tech skills than a designer who can't right quality copy
Authors can choose to have bylines and social media profile links, plus a link to their (non-adult) blog/homepage.
