Why don't you start with google and see how far you get. I have not been to Europe or Africa but I have lived in spent 20 + years abroad in over 10 countries on 3 continents doing social work and have been a human rights activist all my life. (not that that's a lot but it's far from stationary) I pay attention to various countries human rights trends and records and try to pay attention to the difference between media hype, cultural bias and reality.
For example South Africa is pretty famous for having a huge rape problem. Here are some examples:
South Africa, once called ‘the world’s rape capital,’ is running out of rape kits - The Washington Post
South Africa's Rape Crisis: 1 in 4 Men Say They've Done It - TIME
BBC News - Will South Africans ever be shocked by rape?
Apparently rape is 5 times more prevalent in South Africa than it is in the USA. And is actually #1 in the world. So maybe you should find a better example for your axe grinding.
