I used to do that in Metal Shop in highschool. I took Metal Shop 1 & 2, we did welding, sand casting, sheet metal work, cutting steel with an oxy/acetylene torch, and other stuff like that. Then I took Auto Mechanics.
My kid tells me that today, they dont even have wood shop in high schoool anymore.
It's a fucking sad state of affairs.
