>Okay, Jesse : )

We're using real names now? I specifically avoided doing that.

>As for "not attacking" me...BS. You made
>SEVERAL posts about me that were bad enough
>to be deleted here on GFY. Now that's funny...
>because it's almost impossible, evidently, to stir
>a reaction from Eric and the GFY mod "crew"

If anything was deleted, I wasn't aware of it. That's not to say they weren't, but I never realized it, because I had dropped the whole matter. I do find that kind of amusing when you consider what they let people say and do on here. Nothing I ever said was that bad, and certainly wasn't untruthful. I would love to see what I said that was so bad that they would delete it, given everything else that goes on here.

Telling people about a vendor who scammed you isn't an attack. It's a warning to others. Until you suddenly sent the hard drive, I had every reason to believe you had scammed me. Remember, this thread was started when you hadn't sent the hard drive and weren't responding to my emails.

>I didn't suspect you, because I believe
>that I had made good with you at that point.

As I said before, this thread came about before you eventually sent me the hard drive. I'm not the one who revived it, and didn't respond until you started calling me a liar. I considered the whole matter done after I had received the drive.

>And the fact that you wouldn't reveal who
>you were, respond to my pm's here or email
>me back, even at the new email addy I provided you,
>led me to believe that it was likely a baseless attack
>against me here on GFY.

To be honest, I'm still really surprised that you didn't know who I was. I didn't think that you had that many people who ordered hard drives in the summer and hadn't received them. In retrospect, I probably should have just answered the pm's and given you my name, but I was pretty much fed up with it all by that time. You didn't respond to my emails for months.

>You see...there WAS someone claiming to be me,
>that ripped off at least one individual from this
>business community. And that occurred about
>the time that you started psoting, so I assumed
>that's what you were talking about.

I can sympathize with that and believe you, but after a few people posted your real email address, I specifically stated that it was the one I had been using.

>As for shitting where ya eat...yeah, ya kinda are.
>Because it creates a hostile environment.

No, I'm not. I reported what appeared to be a scam in good faith. When people challenged me on it, I gave some details. Things only got hostile when you and some others started calling me a liar. Even then, I didn't get hostile - I simply restated the facts. If I had started calling you names, lied about things, or been rude, that would have been hostile. If I had come back on here and complained about you after I had received the hard drive, that would be hostility. I didn't, though. You revived the thread. Everything I have said has been true, and I had no intention or desire to keep things going. The matter had been settled in my mind.

>BUT...I DO understand. If anyone would
>have a claim against me, it would be YOU.
>I'm an honest girl, so I'll give ya that one.

I believe you are. I believe that this was a mistake on your part, and I doubt you'll make the same mistake again. I still don't understand why it took so long to get the content, and why you quit responding to emails, but I have no interest in holding a grudge.

>I did make good on it with you...and there is a
>MAJOR difference between the verbage of "unreliable"
>versus "Scammer".

I agree. Keep in mind, though, that you had every appearance of being a scammer when this thread was started, and (at that point) still wouldn't respond to my emails. It was an accurate word to use, under the circumstances. That doesn't mean you ARE a scammer, but you certainly appeared to be one, and wouldn't communicate with me. I kept trying to communicate in good faith for months.

I know that you just saw this thread recently, and so everything runs together for you. For me, though, this has been an issue for almost half a year. I'm not calling you a scammer now.

>But yes...I would've been agitated too,
>if something had taken that long.

Thank you.

>Point is...If I was a scammer, I would've
>been sniffed out a loooong time ago. I mean,
>you have seen my vids....you know I "aim to please"

I understand that, but you also have to realize that there were several other people who said the same thing had happened to them, on various threads. There were people who said that they had done business with you in the past and had good experiences, but everyone who mentioned doing business with you recently reported bad experiences. That may very well have been due to the guy who was selling your content under false pretenses, but ultimately the only recent reports I saw on you were negative, and nobody knew why you weren't communicating.

I'm new to content purchasing, but I'm not new to the porn industry - I have been doing IT work for porn folks on and off since the 90s. I have owned and run porn sites in the past, in partnership with a content producer. I have seen more than my share of people who were once reliable businesspeople start to rip people off, particularly when they get desperate for money. It's not really that unusual to see scammer alerts legitimately raised on people who used to run legitimate business, in the porn industry or elsewhere (it happens a lot in the prop reproduction industry, for example).

>I'm not bashing YOU. And the other people aren't
>"fans"...they're people I've done business with.

Ultimately, though, they spoke without knowing anything about the situation. The only reason I didn't immediately post a picture of the PayPal receipt is because it has someone's real name on it, and I don't like to put up anyone's real name without their permission. I have been in situations where someone has posted a scammer alert regarding someone I have a business relationship with, and I usually stay out of it if I don't know the whole story. At most, I will say "that hasn't been my experience." In at least one case (in the IT industry), it turns out that the guy who had always dealt fairly with me HAD ripped off a few people. I don't get in the middle of things like that because I don't want to end up with egg on my face again.

>But unfortunately, there's not a rating system
>here...there's a forum...so titles like "Scammer Alert"
>or similar are pretty damaging.

I know, and I would never post something like that without good reason. You have to admit, though, that after five months I had good reason, particularly because you wouldn't respond to my emails over a period of months. According to my records, the last time you had responded to one of my emails (at the time of posting the thread) was in late September/early October. Can you really blame me for wanting to warn other people by the time late November came around? Can you understand why I had every reason to think that you were running a scam? I'm not saying you were, since I eventually got the drive, but can you see why I would have come to that conclusion in late November? Wouldn't you have thought the same thing?

>I just want the thread gone LoL

I do, too. I would be more than happy for the mods to just delete this thread and any related ones (or related posts). I had already considered the matter closed after I got the drive, so I was surprised that it popped up again at all.

>By the way...did you call me?

No, that wasn't me.

In the end, I know you have a small business to run, and I truly believe that this was a mistake. I would never want to do anything to endanger a person's legitimate business. The reason I didn't report it as a scam to PayPal was that I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. I considered doing so when I started this thread, but I really didn't want to make you lose your PayPal account.

To the mods - I think Jolene and I would both be happy if you just deleted this thread, and anything else related to it.
