A heart surgeon doesn't need to learn all other forms of medicine. He's a specialist that makes good money. Why would he want to become a dentist? Maybe he'd like to open his own practice but he doesn't need learn the other stuff himself. He would hire people with that skill set and knowledge.

Paid traffic doesn't work like that, there is no method. You must be launching, testing and optimizing campaigns constantly since campaign are also constantly dieing. There is no "set it and forget it" method, there is no secret people can find out that will give them instant success; media buying is not like that at all.
Its a constant cycle of launching campaigns and then testing to try to get them profitable or to keep them profitable as long as possible once they are.
Also, I don't understand your analogy with the surgeon and dentist. Are you suggesting that I should stick to paid traffic and not worry about free traffic? if that's your point then i simply disagree.
You also mentioned this "He would hire people with that skill set and knowledge." . Thats pretty much what im doing, my plan is to acquire the knowledge i need to generate free traffic then put together a team of people who do the work to generate this free traffic while i focus on paid traffic. I mentioned this in my first post.
