and this the only time I've done low carb and not felt like shit. The higher fat intake helps that. Actually, focusing on getting good fats and protein automatically lowers the carbs because those types of foods don't have many carbs.
I've had a few people ask me how I got so trimmed down, and I just tell them to stop centering your meals around carbs(and sugar). You'll never eliminate them, nor should you -- but a good step to take would be stop jamming bread into your face every time you eat. It's hard for people to realize that eating fat doesn't make you fat --- carbs make you fat. But every supermarket food is still advertised as low fat, while they're loaded with carbs and sugar.
But I will say that bagel on my carb re-feed day is so nice.
