Straight forward advice. Send an email to the attorney, laying out exactly what was expected, where he/she failed, and how they need to go about satisfying the problem. In the email, give him an X amount of days to reply, accepting responsibility and following your action list, or else.
Or else? Carefully let the attorney know if he/she fails to ________ by [insert date] then you will go out of your way to let everyone know your opinion of his services online.
If the person drops the ball, then do some "negative" SEO keyword magic. It is not hard to find about 10 complaint boards and forums, plus YP.com, OCRegister.com and Yelp.com, to post his information. Be careful to not have it tie directly back to you, but leave enough information for the lawyer to know its you. In fact, do what I did. I even sent from an alternate email account, links to the various posts I generated. Google picked up on them pretty quickly, and so did he. Not only did he finish the work required, but provided a 75% refund on the services already paid for.
Good luck!
