I guess... The traded it into Auto Nation, who then turned around and sold it to auction house, who then... sold it to someone who transports cars overseas.
My step father used to do something similar. He would buy an American car here in the US, then ship it over to Europe, sell it there locally, then buy a car in Europe and ship it to the US. It was rather profitable.
