Yeah I'm sure some girl out there wants to be famous for being a rape victim.
Not saying that no one has ever been deranged enough to do this, but to be a rape victim to even pretend to be one is not a glamorous thing.
You're investigated as much if not more than the person convicted.
You're branded as a harlot, a slut who deserved it, even a "celebrity chaser."
Every detail about your sexual life is investigated and used against you.
Even if you have a normal sexual life and like things a bit kinky that will surely make you look like the little slut that deserved to be raped.
She'll also be accused of knowing what she was getting into by going to his room.
You've already had these comments on these boards.
You've got 2 sets of people on her side. You've got "friends" who claim she's a bad girl, and you've got neighbors who have claimed they've known the family for years and she would never do anything like this. That they now believe her over Kobe.
But guess what?
We won't get access to the evidence and testimony and rules of law that the jury will.
So all I can say is let justice take it's course and let people on both sides of this issue be "innocent until proven guilty.
I think both Kobe and the "victim" deserve this.
