Yes but it is unlikely you are doubling your money because of the domain alone on each name. It's usually your other work which doubles your money and not just the domain itself. If it were otherwise people would buy 25,000+ names (.xxx or otherwise) and do very little with them and we all know that isn't happening. In fact people tend to be dropping domains more and more.

I'd say it's worth keeping if you have a premium domain worth >$1000 or if the domain is part of a brand you control and you want to secure the .xxx. Otherwise you can almost buy 10+ other domains for the price of one .xxx domian.
