If you were smart and understood what you were ranting about you'd know that Vine has been popular for a long time, and is actually owned by Twitter and the fact that Instagram has videos now BECAUSE of Vine.
Also they're not being "created for the sake of being created". They're being created to fill a need that clearly you don't understand, because ya know... It's the 901st most popular website on the internet.
