These Ghost Hunter shows on TV and the batshit crazy people who follow that stuff are nutcases, however I wouldn't dismiss the possibility that you could possibly see an echo of the past and if you did see an echo of the past then the most immediately recognisable aspect of that would be the shape of a person.

Right now I disbelieve anyone who says they have seen a ghost, however I am happy to be convinced otherwise by science.
This pretty much describes the way I look at it - although I'm caught in an atheistic paradox without any sort of explanations for many of the unusual things that have taken place here over the years.

Other than it's a very old house (128yrs) - there's nothing unusual about it. It's much like all the others on the street. Friends and family who know about the odd activity have mentioned it's a few hundred yards from the old city hospital/morgue (now a residential apartment complex). It's also in proximity to historic battlegrounds from the War of 1812 - but again, you'd have to believe in ghosts or spirits for that to have any bearing (which I don't).

We just laugh and scratch our heads everytime something odd happens...trying to make sense of it. We've talked of going to City Hall and researching the history of the place, but haven't gotten around to it (assuming any records even exist).

We've talked with a previous owner (who's great-great grandfather originally built the place) - it was a generational house - and he said to his knowledge it had no prior history of odd stuff happening.
