In my experience these types of posts are just photos of animals that have already been treated and are either healing or have died. Whoever did the abuse has already been caught.
These are just "look at me, I love animals more than humans" type posts. Nothing good comes from these posts other than a lazy housewife gets to tell us how she would brutally murder the person who did this to any animal.
I can at least see the point of the anti-seaworld posts, since it seems to be having quite an effect on the company, or similar companies. But posting pics of tortured dogs isn't helping anything. Just a way for them to pass time. Which is OK too I guess, I just don't really want to look at it.
