There are some things in life I will never understand.
I do not understand why "girls" want to play football. I also do not understand why men would want to cheerleaders. Why can't we just say "no girls on the football team" and "if you want to play football, find enough girls to start a league". I can at least see male cheerleading - they need men to toss the chicks up (you should see how they do it at the college level, it's really impressive).
I have a friend who is in college, but in high school she was... a wrestler. She loved it because she knew that most of the guys wouldn't give 100% because she was a chick, and other guys would just get nervous rubbing up against her.
Our local high school has a girl on the team. Officially it's accepted. But I am guessing behind everyone's back the entire team hates it.
This might sound sexiest, but there are physical differences between guys and chicks. Guys are just physically stronger. I get it - Some chicks want to play football. But unless they are 220 lbs and can physically handle a tackle, we should just say no. Same with the military - I'm all for chicks in the military, even combat units - but they need to be held to the same exact standards.
