I am seeing same. trial sale is fine then 3 days later reasons for decline include do not honor, card not accepted, serv not allowed (card not permitted), and others.
I have a feeling that issuing banks are scrubbing adult transactions harder when the cvv2 number is not passed. And it really sucks if this is the new standard. Almost every adult US transaction goes through Merrick bank so it is easy for issuing banks to scrub them harder.
Need more banks willing to do adult, at least for US people.
