All the posters here that implied 'it's no big deal' obviously DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN.
There is a time and place to talk to your kids about drugs, but when your 8 year old wants the new 'cool' Walt doll and the bag 'o meth that comes with it, there is something seriously wrong with that. Yes, you have to teach your kids right and wrong, and yes that toy is not for them, but does Toys R Us, THE BIGGEST CHILDREN'S TOY STORE HAVE TO WAIVE IT IN KIDS FACES and MAKE THE DRUGS LOOK COOL AND FUN?
What's next? "Harry the Heroin Addict" with needle kit and "Crack Ho Flo" dolls?
We are not talking about toy guns, we are talking about dangerous street drugs and Toys R Us is glorifying them and making them look fun and safe.
These are kids for fuck's sake. Do they have to grow up when they are 8? Must they be exposed to every fucking evil on the planet at such an early age? What happened to getting your kid a bike or a baseball or a skate board? Buying him a doll with a bag of meth? Is that really what it's coming down to now? Are adults with failed lives so envious of children that they want them to grow up as fast as possible by removing all buffers, hand them toys with meth, smart phones with porn, a belly full of junk food, sugar sodas to drink and then sit back and wonder why kids are so fucked up?
Where are the responsible adults?
Are we all that desensitized to the drug problem in kids, that it's 'no big deal' because it's from a tv show?
And about the horror dolls and machine gun army men... kids don't have access to machetes and machine guns, they know it's fantasy play, but teens can easily get access to drugs. This meth doll is just a way to tell kids, 'hey, it's cool, in fact it's so cool your parents got it for you for Xmas so it must be o.k.'
It's hard enough to keep drugs out of kids hands, and now we are giving them meth dolls?
If you disagree with my rage, you either do not have children, or you are a child trapped in an aging body with no responsibility or a care in the world about the well being of children.
