If the advice is to move multiple MASH units to Africa, or if the advice is to shut down all flights to and from Africa, a fucking doctor isn't going to have any clue of what to do or who to call or what the political implications are. On the other hand, a former chief of staff for two former presidents would know exactly what to do.

I don't who this guy is, or if he served Republican or Democratic presidents, but it seems to me that a former chief of staff would be qualified to tackle a task like this. We need someone who can work within the frame of our government and manage all of the government agencies and departments - not a doctor.
So being in charge of something you have no clue about is a good thing?

Head of the CDC is a doctor! Just saying it makes sense.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
