Rates have dropped quite a bit recently.
I have experimented with other ad companies and methods such as juicyads/exo/adxpansion etc as well as with pop ups/unders/banners.
The rates are miserable.it is much more profitable to flip burgers all day.
So, is there any other secent method of monetizing traffic? Or any other company whose ad rates are compareable to those of Plugrush?

I use
Bitter Straberry They are awasome and there are days i get 4us per 1000 hits. They ads that have gets clicked on a lot. Its mobile only so having a responsive design is not best. But a mobile site rocks and loved by google.
Redirect will get your site killed no matter of what you use. Google will shif you out. Play it safe.
For popups go with
FPC Traffic they pay 1.5 per 1000 and it works fine on mobile to.
