Mainstream webmasters how did you get back from update
How did you turn around if you were hit by the google update that had a big impact on links going to your website even those that were "legit" before the update - like press releases and some blogs and other that I call white hat link campaigns?
For instance when it comes to press release links, they are not useless but it's all about how you anchor the link. No stupid SEO forcing keywords but rather the company name.
That's one thing I can do and fix all those PR anchors to a more friendly version.
I get on a regular basis emails asking me to remove links that were spammed on my own site, some seems legit but I completely ignore those going to my whois.
So people seem concerned of how they get links nowadays.
My main question is, would you start disavowing links in order to get back or would you do something different with these links ?
Suggestions, comments ?
Thanks
