Fighting IS in Syria was just a convenient way to oust Assad while having an excuse. Anyone whom thinks we are there to actually fight IS is pretty nieieve. If you notice some of the first "IS" targets we started hitting were oil refineries..
Now no fly zone.. It's pretty easy to see the writing on the wall. Blow up yet another country, so the military industrial complex can keep the economy rolling..
It's almost as transparent as now Russia suddenly wanting to help fight IS. Russia's only want is to have troops in Syria to keep Assad's regime alive. Russia will try to place troops in Syria as a attempt to cock block the US and keep us from taking him out just like we cock blocked Russia in Ukraine.
It's Cold War proxy wars all over again.
