You said that you had total offers of 48K USD, yet there was total of 0 bids on all of the domains. Meaning that we do not see any of those bids you have.

Imagine situation: I bid on 500$ domain. How do I know if somebody did not offer 600$ on that domain already? If you do not register those as bids and they are in no way displayed on the site?

UNLESS by offers you mean that ALL of the offers are/were LOWER than starting prices.
Auction basics. You bid, you wait. If nobody else bids, you win. If somebody else outbids you, you either bid again or lose (repeat until auction closes). Assuming that the winning bid is over any reserve of course.

As for there being no bids showing at the moment. This is not unusual. Most auction activity happens as the end approaches. Placing an early bid draws attention to a domain and puts more eyes and interest on it than a shrewd buyer might want.

As for Evan's "offers", I imagine that these are from people who have seen a domain they like but don't like the high starting price in the system. I think I said before that his system would be better if it had a "make an offer" button for domains without any registered bids at the official starting price which is often in my opinion a little "optimistic"

The "make an offer" button opens a dialogue between buyer and seller (through Evan) to see if they can find a number the both find acceptable.
