5 is a great phone I have one of those now. No reason to upgrade for a while if you just got it.
I live on my phone due to business, so I really want the bigger screen on the device manufacturer I prefer, which is iPhone.

Sprint has the option to lease the phone ($20 per month). But I can still do the same $199 (base model) on a subsidized plan, with two year contract. The 5 is a trade in, towards the cost of the 6.
I wasn't forced to lease the phone or buy it outright.
