we have a setup a bit like that...
Genererated net revenue: <$500 =50/50%
Genererated net revenue: >$500 =100%
The timer resets every payment period.
This way all our hardworking big time partners gets what they deserve - and all my part time/smaller partners gets their 50% like they would on any of the other programs out there.
your idea is a bit different - and might be something we would try out...
perhaps 80% of the first recurring, and 100% of the second...
