In that case Oprah may have just entered her bid based on the circumstances, but I think they would have still gotten plenty of bids.

I would ask why an owner would do this for just a few extra dollars? Why taint your legacy as someone who sold their team in shame just so you could get a few extra bucks? I think when you are at the level that many of these guys are at legacy is more important to them than cash.
