Guns dont fix stuff like this... if she had been holding a 12 inch iron skillet in one hand and a butcher knife in the other and saw him coming it may or may not have saved her as well.
What if HE had had a gun? Might be an entirely different story of MASS murder like what happens here in US schools every year.
