It's like the Manitoba Bus Beheader incident all over again.
People back then of all manner and stripe were saying that if someone on that bus had had a gun, knew how to use it, and had "shot the fucker dead" then that 19 yr old kid may have had a chance to live.
"May have", yes, but even a small chance is better than no chance at all, at least according to all those supporting the "someone should have had a gun" opinion.
As for myself I have to say that I don't think I'd mind one wit if one of these psycho blade-wielding would-be beheaders were to get shot full of holes.
