I had the Klipsch 5.1 Pro-Media ultra also and the system shit out on me, every time I'd turn it on, I'd get a high pitch hum which eventually got to the point that I just couldn't use them any more

It's a shame because they were such a great set.

I ended up just going with a 2.1 setup to replace it for room sake and ended up going with the Cyber Acoustics CA-3908 and it's actually a pretty decent setup for $79
