I used to own the Soundsticks by Harman Kardon. I loved the sound, but I blew through 2 pairs.
I then picked up a Klipsch Promedia 2.1 set. They broke down after a year and a half.
I picked up a Bose Companion set 3 years ago, and I have no complaints. Running strong, crisp highs and low lows. Fills up my loft nicely as well.
