We have been friends for a while, and then probably mid March we went from just casually knowing each other to talking on facebook messenger occasionally, then it went to texting. I then invited her to be my +1 to a wedding for my buddy's mother, who she's mutual friends with that buddy. Clearly she liked me, and I liked her... But how to ask her out eh? I made it special. I invited her to spend the 4th of July weekend with me in Chicago. So we went to the beach for the 4th of July fireworks that Navy Pier put on, and while we were watching them, I held her hand and asked her if she'd be my girlfriend.

She said no, called me a creep. And I did lots of hookers and blow.

Nah just kidding, we're going on almost 2 months together now.
