Looks like one person here gets it, and I'm sure actually does pick up girls on the norm.
Girls don't want a nice guy, and don't want someone who asks what she would like to do etc. Works much better when you are straight to the point,, don't ask for her if you can get her cell number, pull yours out and ask what it is while your adding it. Tell her your going to pick her up at blah blah instead of asking if she wants to go out. etc. etc.
