I have always thought and still think that Geneva conventions are bullshit, but that is just silly, that saying "war is brutal" is supposed to make everything OK.
A: "They did that and that."
B: "War is brutal."
A: "Oh, it's OK then, nevermind."

And is it really even a war in there? Some nutbolts are shooting rockets and now everybody at the Palestinian side should act like there is war? How about if some US folks start to shoot each other (make some differentiating factor) and shoot you too, because you work for them, or talked to your neighbour who happens to be "them".
