It doesn't matter what he did in his life before he met the cop that shot him, "If he was truly unarmed and fleeing" If the cop shot him and he was unarmed, the cop is at fault. 100% No matter what his prior record was, etc......
Cops are not authorized "YET!!!" to go around killing unarmed civilians. We will have to let this play out in court and see all of the evidence.
If he was a thug, he would have gotten his eventually in a lawful fashion. It's not up to police to kill, mistreat or abuse people. Just watch youtube and check out police brutality, there is enough video evidence there to make you understand what the black community has known forever.
The way the police procedures are carried out on a daily basis these days, every encounter with the police is a violation of constitutional rights. COPs have been indoctrinated to be overseers not protectors as we are led to believe.
