I run a Mac Pro, but at 12GB of RAM, it's falling behind the times. I'm looking at the new trash-can-looking Mac Pro. At a sticker price of $6,600, I could build a pretty ridiculous machine and slap OSX on it, a la candyflip. Has anyone gone the Mac Pro route, paid the $6,600, and been satisfied? Need some opinions before I buy.
