Its just a figure of speech. I suppose it means walk away from working, but we were just thinking about how much would be enough to last the rest of our lives. Forget investing the money to make more etc etc, just the amount you would need to live the rest of your life and never have to worry about $ again. But a REALISTIC number, anyone can say a billion dollars. The bare minimum you'd need to be happy from a financial standpoint.
