nice pic.I don't want to teach anybody but I would defenitely use some backgroung ligths (I use 2 X hedler 1250W) + some filters for daily colour temperature (I use hedler 5600K - something between shiny daylight and ussual daylight).This + some white balance should help you to avoid some chromatic aberrations etc + make your pics brighter at all.Also if you have 2 x 1600W flashes - I would go with as high aperture as possible to increase depth of field to maximum.I shoot in 1/125 shutter speed and 12 aperture - of course depends on focal lenght of your lens.
