The people who pirate movies are the ones that would not go to the movies in the first place. Just like the people who watch "tube porn" are the ones that will probably never sign up for a pay site. Yes, if you are downloading movies, videos, games, music, software etc that you fucking know someone else invested their time and money in, to make a profit off of their work (or art), then you're just as much of a thief as the the guy that goes into Best Buy and stuffs a videogame down his pants and walks out the door.
