I used to have a GSX r600, they're so much fun! They are dangerous though, managed to never get a ticket or get hurt despite getting up to 150.
The thing I love about that Honda metropolitan we are riding is the suspension is almost completely bottomed between the two of us, I always have to brace when we cross potholes or railroad tracks. They way we ride is illegal, but we've never had a problem.
Honda metropolitan brand new is $2k and insurance is $75 for full converage 12 months. I weight just over 200 pounds and it gets 100-110 mpg with me on there... oh, and I get smiles from everyone when I drive by
