must be the biggest joke i read on GFY since i signed up.

but it's not the first time you step in the faces of those that died or went to prison to liberate themselves from your lovely communism
I don't disagree with all the points you make here. On a board like this I don't really think it is possible to have a truly sensible and in depth discussion of this issues. The nature of people of completely different background, education etc trying to reach a consensus.

But I think it worth trying to break the one view the western media try to present of complex questions.

The events of the last century has resulted in the deaths of millions, caused by many forces...Industrial nations making colonies, (Imperialism) The deciding borders dividing people and creating future wars (Imperialism), Rivalry between Imperialist powers WW1
Revolution and counter revolution and fascism.

Communism was part of this history, it defeated fascism and liberated Europe. It suffered from Stalinism and mass murder . But also had a radical program of advance for millions of people, women who were given equal rights, expansion of education, culture and science. It produced great works of art, films, music and science.

Capitalism in Poland for example has now made advances but has destroyed polish industry, driven 4 million poles abroad to find work, created homelessness, poverty, while a few become rich.

And twice as many people now sit in polish prisons as did in communist times.

I know well the problems of communism but I also see the problems of capitalism.
