Ah.
I do something similar now and again. I had a beloved aunt who died of cancer several years ago. That uncle with the lake home I've mentioned in the past was her brother, my mother was her sister. Every year or so that uncle and myself pour one of my aunt's famous "Silvia ceasars" and toast the old girl.
It's not a rose, but she really had no use for roses. She poured all of her houseguests a mean drink though, bless her heart.
Hopefully I'll be drinking another toast to her sometime in August.
