lol, google has anything to do with piracy, they just gave relevant results for what people are searching.
google doesn't have any fault because people are uploading stolen content on tubes or social sites or the content owners gave permission for webmasters to upload long clips to promote them.
look at least at the webcam industry, does anyone give access to webmasters to databases of recorded webcam videos to upload them on tubes or even worse, record them? almost nobody does that. Of course that doesn't mean that people will not record webcam sessions and upload them on tubes but at least the cam companies don't encourage this activity by offering to webmasters recorded sessions.
in reality if you steal something and get caught you will do jail time in the majority of countries and even some will cut your hands
on the internet if you steal something and upload on tubes or social sites, in the worst case scenario, you will get your account closed, a risk which anybody can live, right?
if the same punishment from reality would apply on the stolen materials from the internet, things will be different.
people can search on the internet for free houses, that doesn't mean they will find something like that available if people will not offer it.
