I'm also thinking that the actual people of Iraq are with them out of a nationalistic sense of pride...they want their country back from the U.S. installed leader.
But if this story is true...I feel bad for the women there. It's gonna be a nightmare for them.

I don't blame them. The place is a mess now. When you have a place that values tribal leadership over national leadership, you need a leader with a lot of balls. Saddam definitely wasn't lacking in that department.
