Did I ever say shooting outside was wrong? No. Many shoot outside. You want to attack Dave, take your best shot, there is probably not a more honest, concerned, ethical person in this business than Dave Cummings. Shooting outdoors in a controlled situation is a FAR CRY from operating a hardcore studio on a regular, daily basis in a residential neighborhood. The two are nothing alike. I can guarantee you that when Dave shoots outdoors it is a controlled situation.
You said that you interview and hire models daily. Do these models come to your studio or are these phone internviews? You and I both know that the women/men that do this work are not always the highest caliber of people. Do you think that just maybe the people living in these homes, raising their families in these homes have a right to do this without having to be exposed to this? Of course they do. Do you think that the woman mentioned in the article has a right to raise her children, letting them play in their neighborhood, without having to worry about what her children may stumble upon while playing in their neighborhood? Of course she does.
I have no problem with what you do. I have no problem with how you do it. My problem is WHERE you do it. My comment was simple, a residential neighborhood is no place for a hardcore studio to operate on a regular basis, day in, and day out. If this is so hard to understand, then I am stumped on how to make it more clear.
I still am curious how a 2.26 acre property has a 3 acre backyard. Better yet, 7.5 wooded acres.
