You don't need to take separate photos for Instagram (provided that your existing photos can be edited in a way to meet the 'aesthetic preferences' of IG users).
Use the photos you took with your regular camera by downloading it to your device's camera roll then importing it into Instagram (bottom left corner), crop, add filters, hashtags, etc. and you're good to go.
ps. for a more hands off approach, just google "automate instagram", read up on it and dive in.
