Yeah...every President has the same thing happen during the 2nd term. All the stuff they do in the first term unravels a bit and the public starts to get "fatigue" with the sitting President.

It usually takes a few years after they leave office for that to turn around.

Hell, at the end of his life Richard Nixon was appearing all the time on CNN's Larry King and other interview shows and was treated like a beloved elder statesman.

And look at Geoge H.W. Bush. When he was beaten by Clinton in the 1992 election he was ridiculed and pretty much humiliated.
Now the press treats him like some kind of national treasure.

And Clinton himself...remember at the end of his term he was so hated that even Al Gore wouldn't let him go on the campaign trail with him in 2000 when he ran for President. And the Democrat Party didn't have him speak at the convention that year.

Now Clinton is loved by the majority of people.

It's always that way for polls.

Doesn't mean that a President is doing a good job or a bad job. It's just the way things are.

If you ask me...other than the big mansion, the private jet, the private helicopter, getting to pretend to be the "commander in chief" of the military, and traveling all over the world...I think I'd want to quit after one term and let the next guy deal with the bullshit. lol
