It was the most interesting thing. She found out a few days before Christmas and we go down to visit for the week, and it really killed the mood. Dad was a wreck, he was in tears like a fucking drama queen "why does this always have to happen to us". Mom was strong and just said "I am going to beat this". And she never skipped a beat. She did Chemo, lost her breast, lost her hair, but you would have never have known any of it.

If anything like this ever happens to me... I plan on being just like her.
