And for Claudia Marie's paysite...it's a solo girl/personality site. It's based on her fans joining. No need for Ad Words again. If a person has a site that is built correctly then you will already have the relevant text needed to target your audience in the search engines. If a site is built that isn't correctly done and optimized...then you are in trouble.
Maybe all those people that you know should fire their staff of ad buyers and hire some guys who know what they are doing in terms of building a site that has the relevance to the search terms they are thinking about.
I never think about it like that though...kind of backwards. Just build a site that is GOOD, and then put in plenty of descriptive RELEVANT text and your all set without having to give Google any of your money. |
The reason I scoffed at you is you are always bragging about all these millions you made in the heydey of tgp and were pretty dismissive of Adwords which obviously have been a huge revenue source for years.
Even using Claudia Marie as an example, and acknowledging that she is a brand that would drive a lot of organic traffic, the notion that you couldn't care less about additional traffic that could be driven to her site through adwords to me is just plain business myopia and not really something to be proud of imho. Also, with a branded term like "claudia marie" even just taking a defensive marketing approach to dealing with adwords would make sense and result in more traffic.
