I get them too. One time it was an aggressive sales guy. I asked him if this were a sales call and he said "no" then he proceeded to try to upsell me all sorts of crap in between trying to verify my information.
I told him I was very busy and did this really need to be done. He said, yes but you can call us back later here is the number. I never called back. Nothing ever happened. Very lame to waste my time.
